Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Demonstrate knowledge of the principles and practices of the performing arts (Music, Dance and Drama) and how they apply to teaching young children;
2. Identify and evaluate local services, materials and resources that could support their teaching of the performing arts in early childhood education; and
3. Design and implement a performance event/learning experience for preschool children in an early childhood service, that aligns with the EYLF and embeds Indigenous or other cultural ways.
